Filmmaker Taika Waititi returns to Thor after 2017's Ragnarok. Chris Hemsworth of course is back, here joined by Natalie Portman reprising her role as Jane Foster from Thor and The Dark World.
Foster's storyline will see her take the mantle as a female incarnation of Thor (as happened to the character in the comics). Tessa Thompson returns as Valkyrie and will begin a search for her queen, becoming the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first major LGBTQ character. Love and Thunder will be the forth Thor movie and MCU #29.
